Apple lists over a hundred new features for the new iPhone OS 3. Whether you are looking for a certain app that you have, a picture tag that you have made, or a text message that you still have stored, you can find it with just a few clicks with the new search function. Also, to make the iPhone much more like a computer, Apple is including the cut, copy, and paste features. This will make it a lot easier to paste things from your email into a text message, or from an app into an email.
From the developer’s side of the spectrum, there is a lot to love about this new operating system as well. The iPhone OS 3 has an updated software development kit with thousands of totally new APIs. This will allow app developers to make even better apps with more detail and features. This news is good for both developers and consumers alike, as we will start seeing much more variety in the iTunes App store.
