As the rumored release of the iPad 3 draws closer we are beginning to find out more and more about the device. Currently we don’t know a whole lot but recent reports have indicated that the iPad 3 will finally be getting a retina display similar to those found on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. This is great news as it means the iPad 3 will finally be the first high definition iPad.

Even more important is the new rumored release date for the iPad 3. According to sources close to Apple the release date is most likely going to be sometime in February though at this point nothing seems to be set in stone. It will likely be another month before we get any sort of official confirmation though so stay tuned for the official work.
