Pod2G is one of the leading iPhone jailbreak goups out there so they’re always working to stay ahead of the other jailbreaking experts. This week they made an announcement regarding the progress of an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 and it looks like they’re getting much closer.
iOS 5 has been a totally different set of struggles when it comes to jailbreaking and Pod2G as well as the other leaders have had issues ever since it came out. The goal of an untethered jailbreak has not yet been achieved but Pod2G is apparently hopeful that they’ll have one in the next week or so since they have begun to increase the amount of work being put into the project.
