Today some details about how Apple deals with new technology specialists and engineers came out and, as usual, Apple is quite crazy about their level of security and secrecy. Apple has always been about hiding new projects and programs so it is not surprising to find that Apple is doing their best to hide new and upcoming major projects from important engineers.
The odd part is the way that Apple accomplishes this task. Apple has been apparently hiding tasks from engineers by putting new employees on fake projects and programs to ensure loyalty. Until an employee has shown themselves to be trustworthy they are not allowed to see or deal with any of the new major projects. This concept, while wasteful, seems to be working great since very few Apple projects are publicly leaked, don’t be surprised if other companies begin to implement the same procedure in the future.
