When it comes to simple and addictive iPhone and iPod Touch games, there are certainly plenty to choose from and now, there is another contender that has recently been launched into the app store. The game; Pig Shot is yet another addictive game that will keep you entertained for hours, and once again, it has a very simple concept.
The idea of the game is that you are in control of a pig and you have to launch it using a catapult system. This might sound similar to angry birds and in a sense, it is a little similar. Once the pig has been launched, it will start to run into a variety of obstacles and stars; the stars are the ones you have to collect. You will then use the iPhone or iPod Touch’s tilt controls to control where the pig is heading so that you only collect the stars and not any of the ‘bad stuff’. After a while, you will hit another slingshot area and you will launch the pig again. This process continues until you actually fail to keep the pig moving.
One of the best features of this game is its integration with the game center applcation. As well as this, it has absolutely stunning cartoon like graphics that appear great on the iPhone 4 or iPod Touch Retina display. The game is available completely free of charge from the app store and is currently in the top 25 games.
