Apple is one of the world’s most well known and largest companies that produce a huge amount of electronic equipment. Over the past few years, they have become an extremely popular company as they have produced some of the most influential devices in the recent years. Apple’s success over the past few years started with their iPod device which really sent them from a small company to a giant. They have also since then produced things such as the iPhone and the iPod Touch which feature great touch screen technology. Now, Apple has filed a lawsuit against a rival company; Motorola, as they have said that Motorola have actually stolen the touch screen technology that was in the iPhone device from them.
Apple filed this lawsuit on Friday in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Apple has claimed that the makers of the Droid Smartphone; Motorola, actually stole the touch screen technology that they used in the iPhone for the device. Apple has actually filed a nine page lawsuit with details of the exact things that they are suing the company for and Apple has said in the lawsuit that Motorola’s actions have harmed Apple and will continue to do so until it is brought to court. Motorola on the other hand actually say that Apple is infringing upon them and it looks like this is the start of yet another legal battle for Apple. Motorola have said that they will go through the court system to prove that Apple is guilty.
