Today, Apple have officially launched the next version of their iOS software which runs on all of their well known devices including the iPod Touch, iPhone, and the iPad devices. This new version of the software brings many new updates which Apple were keen to bring to the devices and it especially brings some great new features for the iPhone4 and iPad users.
Users of the iOS devices can now download and install the latest version of the firmware using their iTunes accounts and some of the new features are great. One of the best features of the new firmware is the feature for the iPhone 4 device that will allow users to share their 3G connection with their laptop or personal computer. This is something that many users of the phone have been asking for as previously, it was only doable using Bluetooth.
As well as this, Apple has also introduced the option on the iPad to choose what the mute button on the side of the device actually does. It is now programmable to be able to either mute your device or lock the orientation of the screen. Once again, this is thought o be one of the most popular features of the new software.
There are a few other new features including new features for the Airplay feature that Apple have as well as much more. The download is free for any owners of iOS devices.
