Often artists will offer deals and promotions to dedicated fans, so checking back every so often can be a great way to make sure that you’re one of the first to have the most cutting-edge music.

Amazon.com, while being a great place to shop, is also a great place to get free music for ipod touch. If you head on over to Amazon and then find their Download Page, you’ll see a list of free giveaways and promotions that they will also currently have going.
